Tai Chi benefits

 

Practicing Tai chi is good for peoples’ health. It has many emotional and physical benefits. 

Some of the emotional benefits of tai chi include decreased anxiety and depression and improvements in cognition and mood.

The physical benefits of tai chi may include: Improved muscle strength; Increased energy and stamina; Improved flexibility, balance and agility; Improved aerobic capacity; Improved function of all internal organs; Improved management of certain chronic diseases.

本课程共计16个小时,特别为RMT,RAC同学设计,主要考虑到大家的实际工作环境,学习后可以在小的空间和环境随时进行锻炼,一达到强身健体的目的以便更好的为客户服务。课程分两部分进行,第一部分(8小时)主要讲解理论及16个分解动作,这样学生可以在分开练习并熟练每个分解动作,第二部分把整个16个动作连贯成一个小的锻炼套路,每次课程都要进行一个的测试以确保大家掌握学习内容。只要大家能坚持锻炼就一定能达到健身的目的!


1. Tai Chi introduction including Tai Chi theory and different styles development.(15 minutes) 太极介绍,包括其理论和不同氏的发展。(15分钟)
2. Basic skills practice (0.5小时)基本功练习(半小时)
- Static holding ball. It pays more attention to increasing legs strength.静态抱球式,注重加强腿部力量。
- Dynamic holding ball. It pays more attention to coordination of arms and legs. 动态抱球式,注重双臂双腿运动的协调。
3. Practice two important movements(45 minutes)学练2个重要动作(45分钟)
    Main point, coordination of arms and Center of gravity. 重点,协调的双臂运动和重心的移动。
  - Grasp the Bird's Tail 揽雀尾
  - Wave hands like clouds 云手
4. Learn other 16 movements one by one(4 hours)分别学练其他16个动作(4小时)

  - 白鹤亮翅 White crane spreads its wings
  - 左右搂膝拗步 Brush knee with bow stance, Left and right
  - 右琵琶势 Hand strums lute, right
  - 左单鞭 Single whip, Left
  - 左云手(二) Wave hands like clouds, Left (2)
  - 右撇身捶 Turn right to strike斜身靠 Lean oblique
  - 左搬拦捶 Turn to Deflect Downward , parry and punch, Left
  - 如封似闭Apparent Close up
  - 右左分鬃 Part horse’s mane on both sides
  - 右左穿梭 Work at shuttles on both sides
  - 海底针Needle at Sea Bottom
  - 闪通背 Flash arms
  - 转身搬拦捶Turn, Deflect Downward, Parry and Punch
  - 如封似闭Apparent Close up
  - 十字手 Cross hands
  - 收势 Closing form
5. Practice 18 movements together presentation (0.5 hour)演示18式连起来(0.5小时)
6. Review all movements(1 hour)复习(1小时)

7. Exam person by person (1hour)  考试 (1小时)
