SOCO Osteopathy Program

About Osteopathy

Manual Osteopathic Practitioners are recognized professionals in the West, and their effective treatment methods are widely acknowledged. Most insurance companies offer coverage for osteopathy services, and they are commonly utilized by Westerners. In Canada, this modality is not regulated, so the market is not very standardized. You can enter the area and get insurance coverage by graduating from a manual osteopathy program and joining an association. Currently, the tuition fees vary from a few thousand to tens of thousands of dollars, and the duration of programs ranges from 6 months to 5 years. What differs is the level of hands-on training as well as the association you can join after graduation, and the extent of recognition by insurance  companies. Some schools graduates can only join associations recognized by smaller insurance companies, which can significantly impact their future practice.

Recently, many students have expressed a desire to obtain a manual osteopathy designation. I have conducted research on schools in this field and selected one with the best cost-effectiveness. You can complete your studies in your spare time, without significantly affecting your regular work schedule. Each monthly module is designed to be an independent course, making it easy to make up missed classes. Graduates can be accepted by the majority of insurance companies, and the association fees are low. The designation is valid across all of Canada. This school teaches not only basic but all of the existing modern osteopathic techniques and focuses on developing student’s good hands-on skills. Below are the details:
