The course is offered both on-site at York University's campus in Toronto and globally through online platforms.   8. After graduation, students can join selected associations to become a registered manual osteopath with the ability to bill most all te health insurers across Canada

  9. Manual osteopaths earn higher fees compared to massage therapy and acupuncture, with prevailing market rates ranging from $130-150 per hour, enhancing students' income. Manual osteopaths on average make $150,000 per year.

  10. Osteopathy, not being government-regulated in Ontario, allows graduates to practice and bill insurance immediately after registration without the need for regulatory exams, bypassing unnecessary oversight and audits.

  11. In insurance policies, osteopathy typically enjoys broader coverage and higher reimbursement limits compared to massage or acupuncture. Additionally, osteopathic treatments often do not require a prescription from a physician. The field has a wide market reach and promising employment prospects, given that there are significantly fewer osteopaths compared to acupuncture or massage practitioners

11. Osteopath在保险政策的涵盖范围内，相较于按摩，针灸有更大的额度，而且通常没有医生处方的要求，市场广泛。而且osteopathy的从业人员数量要远远少于针灸师，按摩师人数。所以有广阔的就业前景。
